Overspeed Training to begin
Submitted By Glenn Ernst on Tuesday, July 2, 2019
The  week of July 8th  is at O’Brien Arena (Pickering Complex), not the ACC. Note that the times are different for that week as well.

The sessions at the ACC for the four youngest groups are shortened to 1.5 hrs.

There will be training sessions for the goalies from 11-11:30. This time is for all the goalies for all of the ages that skate on that day. Scott Della Vedova will run the sessions and will have support to deal with the different ages. Please get goalies out to the sessions. They are critical. For the younger ages (N, MA, A, MP) the goalies stay on after the skaters are finished. For the older ages, (P, MB, B, MM) the goalies are on the ice 30 minutes BEFORE the skaters.

Make sure your players have  both a DARK and a LIGHT jersey in their bags. Some form of Raider jersey is preferred but not essential. This makes it much easier to quickly divide the teams up for the scrimmage.

Try to get one of your staff to be on the ice at the sessions. It is helpful to have the extra bodies to control the skates.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

The Week of July 8th at O'Brien are as follows:

Tues July 9th , 3-4 Novice/ Minor Atom

Wed July 10th ,  1-2 Atom/Minor Peewee
