                 Andy Andreoff
current member of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings

The Pickering Hockey Association, the Ajax/Pickering Raiders and the City of Pickering invite you and your family to meet and honour Pickering native Andy Andreoff, member of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings. Andy will honoured by having his framed Los Angeles Kings # 15 jersey hung on the jersey display wall in the lobby of Don Beer Arena.

The unveiling will take place at a special ceremony on

7:00 pm

Don Beer Arena Pad # 2.

Master of Ceremonies
Glenn Healy
former Toronto Maple Leaf Goalie

Andy Andreoff progressed rapidly through the Pickering Hockey Association as a youngster, playing his AAA hockey with the Ajax/Pickering Raiders and completing 5 years with the OHL Oshawa Generals. Playing 277 games with the Generals, Andy holds the record as the longest serving Oshawa General in the franchise’s history.

It was while playing in Oshawa, that Andy was drafted by the Kings in the third round (80th overall in 2011). Currently in his second year in the NHL, Andreoff plays left wing with the Kings appearing in 60 regular season games this past season.

Currently, the only other jersey on display in Don Beer belongs to former NHL Goalie Glenn Healy. Mr. Healy's framed Toronto Maple Leaf jersey has been hanging in the arena for a few years now. Like Andy, Glenn also grew up playing in Pickering. He then moved on to play in Western Michigan, then with the Los Angeles Kings, the New York Islanders, the New York Rangers (92/93 Stanley Cup Champions) and the Toronto Maple Leafs. It is especially appropriate that, as another Pickering native, Glenn has kindly agreed to be the Master of Ceremonies for this special unveiling.

Please come out and support Andy and local Pickering hockey by attending this honoring of one of our own. Andy will be available for autographs, so bring a pen!

See you all there
