Rick Schofield former Ajax Pickering Raider
Submitted By Sarah Ferrante - Scullion on Saturday, January 4, 2020
While playing in Linz yesterday, the '05 APR players got to meet Rick Schofield who plays pro hockey in Austria.  Rick is a former Ajax Pickering Raider and Pickering Panther Jr A player who is currently playing for EHC Black Wings Linz that competes in the Austrian Hockey League (EBEL).
Rick played NCAA Hockey for Lake Superior State, followed by 3 years in the AHL. Rick has been playing professionally in Europe since 2013 and is currently the leading scorer in Linz.

Rick spent about 15 minutes with the players before their game and brought them all toques that they wore with pride watching Rick’s game after theirs.  They were thrilled when Rick scored the opening goal in a 3-2 win over Vienna.

Thank you Rick @rjschofield @AaaRaiders  @PanthersOJHL #Raid
