Peewee Teams do terrific in Nation`s Cup tourney

Minor and Major Peewee teams travel to Nation`s Cup tourney (Jan 18-20)

Minor Peewee lost in the final and the Major Peewee won the tourney … they have a banner to prove it,

Congrats to both Raider teams.
 
At the Nation's Cup, in Ann Arbor Michigan the teams wear their country's jerseys with pride and battle the opposition for bragging rights. Points in the standings for each victory go towards each nation's total amount, rather than just a win or a loss for the individual team.


Major Peewee …… Victory

Raiders had great team defensive effort to finished first on the Canadian side placing ahead of the 8th ranked London Jr Knights and 15th Ranked Southern Tier Admirals. Raiders beat Victory Honda 3vs 2 in the exciting finals to secure a first place finish and an overall points win for Team Canada.

 

Highlights

·         Only 3 goals against in four round robin games

·         Two shutouts, one by each goalie.

·         Tie for the most goals for

·         Best goals against.
