Stars Sign Raider Graduate- Devin Shore
Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the
club has signed center Devin Shore to a three-year entry-level
contract. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Shore, 20, recently completed his junior season at the University of Maine recording 35 points (14-21=35) in 39 games played. In 112 career collegiate games, he registered 104 points (34-70=104). Following his sophomore season in 2013-14, he was named a Second Team All-American and to the Hockey East First Team. "Devin has tremendous hockey sense and he is ready to continue his development at the professional level," said Nill. "Red Gendron and his staff at the University of Maine did an excellent job of preparing Devin and giving him the tools to make this transition."
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound native of Ajax, Ontario played AAA hockey as a Raider from Novice to Midget, was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (61st overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
